Accounting Manager

Job beschrijving

You will be responsible for managing all processes and matters related to (metal) accounting and accounts payable for Aurubis Olen. This includes:

• Organizing, managing and coaching a team of 3 direct reports (5 employees in total).
• Coordinating and monitoring the monthly closing activities of accounting and the day-to-day activities of accounts payable (together with teamlead A/P). Taking full ownership and responsibility of the process of inventory valuation for statutory purposes and management (group) reporting.
• Determining, analysing and reporting key figures tot the management team. Acting as a business partner on operational level to actively support in steering the business.
• Actively coordinating, executing and participating in various accounting projects (e.g. process improvement, new IT systems, implementation of new laws).
• Having regular contact with external partners such as auditors and government (tax) inspectors.
• Supporting and serving as as back-up to the Aurubis Olen Accounting Manager – General Accounting.

You report on a daily basis to the Finance Director Belgium.
