Functie

For one of our clients, we are looking for a Financial Operations Expert to join their Brussels-based team.

Your responsibilities:

• Daily monitoring of financial transaction settlement flows for institutional clients.
• Managing and updating pre-funding and collateral positions.
• Performing end-of-month reconciliations and validations.
• Providing operational support and assistance to financial institutions.
• Ensuring the accuracy of processing files and payment instructions.
• Collaborating with financial partners and processors to improve operational efficiency.
• Participating in process improvement initiatives and reporting activities.

Profiel

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree, preferably in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a financial or treasury environment.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable with numbers, payment operations, and reporting.
• Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
• Excellent command of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• A genuine interest in the financial sector and/or international card schemes is a plus.
• A team player with a flexible and proactive attitude.
